CAPABILITY
Architectural knowledge and overseeing client portfolios
Throughout my career in architecture, I've managed and planned in-house coordination and development of portfolios for national clients. My dedication lies in delivering high-quality products for clients, all the while producing detailed drawings for use in client and consultant liaising, from initial stages through to construction.
In my role as an Architectural Technician, I have participated in a diverse range of projects and assumed various managerial responsibilities. I've been responsible for designing and coordinating retail projects, each with similarities but differing in scope and scale. Additionally, I've managed contract administration tasks, coordinating and overseeing client input in alignment with legal requirements and development processes. I actively and effectively managed teams and timelines within project constraints.
This required me to continually document and monitor the quality of work that was being sent to authorities, clients, consultants and in-house technicians. Communicating with the client was a necessity to evaluate their needs and coincide with the market and operations of the retail stores.
Problem solving and competency was highly relevant throughout the process, something I encouraged the junior staff to adopt and develop. Technical ability in conjunction with contextual knowledge is extremely vital to any of the concurrent projects, considering the fast paced turnarounds, and similar projects with divergent scope, requirements, jurisdictions and people.
