A deep thinker with the knowledge and experience to be creative, to explore all the possibilities our world has to offer.
Too long, didn't read
...or read the nuanced story.

I've done a lot of things in my life which has made me a creative person and a more dynamic professional... while still trying to make the world a better place.

Throughout my life I have continually stepped into a wide range of roles and wisdoms that have not only broadened horizons but help me see beyond them. These pursuits have granted me a breadth of knowledge and a variety of interests. Nonetheless, my principal passion remains: making the world a better place.

Work wise...
I've been an architectural draftsperson
been a ministerial staffer
been a stage director
been a producer
been a 'summit envoy'
been a consultant
I'm a business specialist
a service designer
a user experience (UX) designer
a digital designer
a community facilitator
a charity worker
a mentor and trainer
a leader.

My professional career has been quite the odyssey so far. Starting as school holiday work with self-developed skills, I began as an architectural technician and evolved into a mentor and trainer for architecture students, emphasising peer growth. My journey continued within the firm as I managed nationwide client portfolios, consultant coordination, office tasks, and technical drafting. However, I shifted gears to pursue the creative industries in university and more specifically, the entertainment industry. During my degree, I gained insights into project management and creative practices. I expanded my academic pursuits with a second degree in business and economics, driven by my curiosity about the mechanics of our world. This addition has equipped me with skills in report writing, analytical thinking, and applying economic principles to address global challenges, enhancing my career significantly

But, then I found myself in a new career. Presently, I am engaged as a Designer, leveraging my creative and practical aptitudes to champion the principles of business, user experience, human-centered design, and systems-led thinking. Designing with people in mind.

Now, I've moved to the United Kingdom babyyy! Courtesy
of my British parents, I have entered the country as a full fledged citizen, settling in bonnie ole' Scotland, Glasgow.

I now excitedly work in the charity sector as a lead designer and in project roles.

Now, having enjoyed the vibrant and sun-soaked city of Brisbane, Australia for a significant part of my life, I find myself on a new adventure and a change of scenery in the United Kingdom. With my parents originally hailing from the UK, friends and family there now, this journey feels like a connection to my roots and an opportunity to explore a different culture and lifestyle. Having prospected much of England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland, I have settled in the vibrant city of Glasgow!

Currently, I work in the charity sector, fulfilling my passion and designing with our most vulnerable people in homelessness and housing.

Finally, people are my passion.
Loud and opinionated or the subtly unnoticed - it is important for me to hear and tell their stories, to make their worlds better. They are my story.

Finally, I would be remise if I did not mention people as part of my story. I thoroughly enjoy working and engaging with people - connecting with people is what I am great at. Their stories have always been important to me and engaging and contributing to them has always filled me with pride.

What a ride. But there is more to come.
And perhaps you'll be a part of it...

So far, it has been a crucible of experiences and learning, all contributing to an interesting career and multiple successful projects. But I'm excited for what is next... and you know someone that has two names definitely has more to tell.
